Marianne P. Sperry, MA CCC speech language pathologist
Marianne Sperry, M.A. CCC/SLP is a twenty-year practicing speech language pathologist. Her pediatric therapy practice Marianne Sperry and Associates specialized in speech language pathology, occupational therapy, and developmental learning needs.
Marianne received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati. In her seventeen years as a Nashville resident, she has established a speech division for the Columbia HCA home care program, worked as lead speech language pathologist at Currey Ingram School, and started the Easter Seals Pediatric Rehabilitation Program where she served as the head of the speech language pathology department. In addition to owning her own practice as a speech language pathologist, she has worked as the Department Head of Speech Pathology for Learning Lab and was Interim Home School Director for Gateway Academy, a division of the Learning Lab.
Marianne has published research on her specialty, child language and learning issues. Her current caseload consists of children with academic needs associated with language learning issues, such as ADD and dyslexia, articulation, oral motor and feeding issues, and preschool language delays.
Marianne is married to Andy and has two children, ages thirteen and eleven. She enjoys mentoring other speech pathologists, spending time with her family, baking, crafting and personal fitness.
