How to enroll in our DBT therapy program.

If you are interested in any of our DBT programs, the first step is to complete a DBT Services Request Form.  If you are currently being seen by a mental or behavioral health services provider or if you have been hospitalized or participated in IOP or PHP programs in the past 6 months, you will be required to complete a Release of Information for the provider(s) and any higher level of care facility. Our DBT Intake Coordinator will review all documents and gather the needed information prior to scheduling.

The DBT Intake and Orientation session is a minimum of 90 minutes long with both the teen and caregiver(s). The goals of this session are:

Following this Intake and Orientation session, the DBT Treatment Team will review gathered information and make treatment recommendations, including but not limited to Comprehensive DBT, DBT Group Skills-Only, Parent Behavioral Training, or other treatment services.  Additional sessions may be recommended prior to beginning a DBT Skills Group or Comprehensive DBT. Typically, these sessions focus on further assessment, enhancing motivation and commitment, and addressing other factors that will help clients benefit from DBT participation.
