Dr. Morrow specializes in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for early childhood behavior concerns and in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral approaches to address anxiety, mood, and emotion regulation concerns, while drawing from interpersonal and attachment-based frameworks, including the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) model, as appropriate to each client’s needs. Dr. Morrow’s approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and relational. She strives to create a safe, goal-oriented environment where children and families feel supported in working toward meaningful change.
In addition to therapy, Dr. Morrow provides integrative psychological assessments to clarify diagnoses and inform individualized treatment planning. These evaluations typically assess cognitive, adaptive, academic, social, and psychological functioning. She is trained to evaluate a broad range of presenting concerns including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, specific learning disorders, developmental delays, trauma, and co-occurring mood or anxiety disorders.
Dr. Morrow is a Certified PCIT Therapist and Within-Agency Trainer through PCIT International. During her time at Vanderbilt, she co-led statewide PCIT learning collaboratives to support high-fidelity implementation across Tennessee. She is currently completing certification in TF-CBT and has additional specialized training in the Unified Protocol for Children & Adolescents, PCIT-Toddler, and RUBI Parent Training. Dr. Morrow will also be joining our team in providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is excited to continue offering evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and families in the Nashville community!
