Meet Heidi Hensley, LPC-MHSP, CEDS

Director, Eating Disorders Program

Heidi Hensley brings 16 years of clinical experience to her work with adolescents and adults, including more than 12 years dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders and body image concerns. She is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS), a credential reflecting advanced training and a sustained commitment to excellence in eating disorder care. Heidi also has extensive experience treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), drawing on evidence-based, exposure-focused approaches to help clients build lasting relief from intrusive thoughts and compulsive patterns.

As Director of the Eating Disorders Program, Heidi leads and mentors fellow clinicians, strengthens collaboration across our multidisciplinary team, and helps build a program grounded in clinical expertise and genuine respect for each person’s path toward recovery.

Heidi’s approach to therapy is rooted in relationship — she believes healing begins in a space defined by safety, presence, and compassion. In session, she works to honor each client’s story, meet them at their own pace, and support them in reconnecting with their inner strength and self-trust. Her style is direct and grounded in evidence-based practice, while remaining deeply human; she sees each client as the expert of their own life; and she works to build a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, curiosity, and hope.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Heidi welcomes the opportunity to explore what healing and growth can look like for you.
