Meet Alison Rossano, DNP, PMHNP

Alison Rossano provides diagnostic assessments, medication management, and supportive therapy services. Alison grew up in New York City and moved to Nashville in 2017 to attend Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s nurse residency program. While at Vanderbilt, Alison treated patients across the lifespan suffering from thought and mood disorders. As a charge nurse, Alison participated in the first break psychosis team, working closely with physicians and residents to give holistic care to patients and their family members. In 2019, Alison attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s school of nursing and earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice specializing in psychiatric mental health. While attending UTHSC, Alison became a member of Beta Theta at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Alison has a longstanding history of working in mental health and treating patients across the lifespan. Alison has always had a strong passion for psychiatric nursing. She enjoys advocating for both patients and their families within the healthcare system and serving her community. Alison holds a strong passion for mental health and enjoys treating patients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Alison’s experiences as a psychiatric nurse have led to her expertise in treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of mental health disorders.
