Virtual Services

Treatment Tailored to You, Virtually. Connect with Experienced Providers Anywhere in the State of
Tennessee.

Mental and behavioral healthcare accessible in your home.

As mental health providers, we continuously strive to offer effective and accessible care to our clients. In recent years, the expansion of virtual treatment has presented a unique opportunity to transform the way we deliver mental health support. At NCFWC, we are proud of the evidenced-based virtual services we provide across the entire state of Tennessee using live, confidential video conferencing. In addition to our in-person locations, we offer virtual therapy, nutrition, and psychiatry services, providing clients and families with tailored comprehensive care or coordinating care with already established local providers.

Virtual treatment for children, teens, adults, and families offers numerous benefits, providing accessibility, flexibility, and greater comfort and privacy to individuals seeking help. It removes geographical barriers, allowing clients to connect with specialized providers regardless of their location, which is particularly valuable when identifying an experienced team targeting your individual needs. Virtual care also accommodates busy schedules, offering greater flexibility in appointment times and eliminating the need for travel. Additionally, virtual approaches enable seamless integration of family members and certain home-based interventions into the treatment process.

Benefits of Virtual Therapy or Telehealth

  • Enhanced accessibility
  • Scheduling flexibility
  • Increased convenience
  • Greater comfort and privacy
  • Less of a time commitment as it eliminates the need for travel
  • Allows family members to participate from different or the same locations in Tennessee (if
    agreed upon and recommended)
  • Prioritizes certain home-based interventions in the environment where symptoms are present
  • We use a confidential, HIPAA compliant telehealth platform that allows live video conferencing with your provider.
  • Each provider has a virtual waiting room.
  • Each appointment has a unique link that expires after use.
  • Appointment links are emailed, but can also be found in your client portal.
  • Appointments require you to have Wi-Fi or internet access, and a computer, tablet, or smartphone that allows video calls using our telehealth platform.
  • If you’re using a smart phone, we recommend putting it on “do not disturb” for the duration of the appointment.
  • Sessions go best when you have a quiet place with privacy and without distractions. We suggest using a room with a closed door, and investing in headphones and a sound machine if others are in the home or location when you will be attending appointments.
  • Many schools are happy to accommodate virtual appointments and can identify a confidential space for your child
